Seizing a domain controller when you don't know the password

It never fails. At least once or twice a year I get someone emailing me asking how can they seize back their domain controller. Usually because of poor documentation and credential management problems, and "techy turnover" where people leave an organization.

Over 5 years ago I did a video on how to do this. It hasn't really changed much. If you need to get into a DC, it might be one way to get it back.

Happy hacking. Just remember. This is a last resort. Be careful.
